Welcome to Business Schools for Climate Leadership (BS4CL), pioneering research and thought leadership partnership aimed at equipping current and future business leaders with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate the complex landscape of the climate crisis.
Our project brings together eight prestigious European business schools in a shared mission to generate, disseminate, and amplify evidence-based research, actionable insights, and thought leadership for corporate executives, students, educators, and policymakers who are at the forefront of driving the climate transition.
These schools, which launched their alliance at COP26 in Glasgow in 2021, are committed to sustainability and to integrating eco-friendly practices into business.

Financial Economics of Climate and Sustainability seeks to be an important, timely, and catalytic development in the climate finance space designed to develop the next generation of scholars and educators in this field and to create a community of researchers in this field.
COP28 - Launch of BS4CL Middle East

The initiative was officially launched during COP 28 by eight leading PRME Middle East Business Schools. The expansion of the Business Schools for Climate Leadership (BS4CL) into the Middle East follows its success in Europe and Africa. It aims to adapt strategies to the region’s specific environmental and socio-economic challenges such as extreme temperatures, water scarcity, agricultural risks and economic dependence on fossil fuels.
